The Rolling Stones Mobile Museum has completed its incredible Eastern Cape tour — taking the Nqweba Meteorite home to the province where it fell. From Nelson Mandela University, to the Albany Museum in Makhanda (celebrating its 170th anniversary), the Nelson Mandela Bay Science and Technology Centre, and finally Graaff-Reinet, we’ve had the privilege of sharing this extraordinary story of space meeting Earth with hundreds of learners, teachers, and communities. This journey was made possible through the collaboration and generosity of our hosts and partners — heartfelt thanks to: Nelson Mandela University, Albany Museum, Nelson Mandela Bay Science and Technology Centre, Karoo Origins Centre, Graaff-Reinet and our sponsors and supporters, including BUGEMET, CIMERA, Northam Platinum Booysendal (who let us let us pilot out set-up at their career day), and the many volunteers and educators who brought science to life on the road.
